Alright! Many of you have seen the gimp wave effect that I converted from a paint.net tutorial. Well along with the video, Gimper, the administrator of gimp-tutorials.net, asked me to do a written version and I got $30 bucks to boot. Besides that I am now a moderator on the Gimper.net forum, yay!

Just thought I'd mention that I noticed someone followed along your tutorial, using different colors, and then posted the resulting image onto stock.xchng (http://www.sxc.hu/home). The copyright notice if I remember correctly was that he should be notified if the image is used anywhere. So it basically seems as though he is claiming copyright.
